Tijdens de kerstperiode 2006 ontving India Mahdavi, mijn stageadres in Parijs, een projectaanvraag voor het museum Des Arts Décoratives, onderdeel van het Louvre. Het idee was om een eyecatcher te ontwerpen ter decoratie van de voorgevel en 3 etalages voor de museumwinkel gedurende 3 maanden. De rode silhouetten zijn gebaseerd op producten die in de boetiek verkocht worden en objecten uit de collectie van India Mahdavi.

For the Christmas period of 2006 India Mahdavi, my internship in Paris, received a project request from the boutique of the museum “des arts decorative”, part of the Louvre Museum. The idea was to design an eye-catcher on the façade which involved the decorating of the 3 windows for 3 months. The windows are decorated in 3 different themes. The red silhouettes are based on products out of the boutique and objects from the collection of India.
